VLADIMIR FANSHIL

Vladimir Fanshil is a Ukrainian-born Australian conductor and artistic director whose work combines international orchestral and operatic experience with a distinctive commitment to programming and audience connection.
Known for his longstanding relationships with leading orchestras globally, Vladimir works regularly with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR) in Katowice, Bilkent Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra of Chile and recurring engagements with the Klassische Philharmonie Bonn with whom he undertook a ten-concert German tour with.
This season, Fanshil conducted Dvořák’s Rusalka for Opera Queensland with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, earning praise for his interpretation: “Under Vladimir Fanshil’s direction, the score shimmers, sighs, and occasionally surges with frightening force.” — Stage Buzz Brisbane
As co-founder and Artistic Director of Live at Yours, Fanshil has translated his ideas about concert presentation into a growing national programme. Established in 2020, the organisation has presented more than 300 concerts across four Australian states, bringing leading international artists into distinctive venues.
